Mental Health Resource Centre

The °µÍøÁÔÆæ’s MHRC consists of a group of professionals from the Student Services Department. Psychologists, guidance counsellors and behaviour specialists work with the common goal of providing more support and effective services to address the mental health concerns of the °µÍøÁÔÆæ student population. MHRC works with schools, teachers, and parents with the goal of enhancing school life whether via prevention, consultation, and/or intervention.

Centre of Excellence for Speech & Language Development

The Centre of Excellence for Speech and Language Development, operated by the °µÍøÁÔÆæ (°µÍøÁÔÆæ), is a part of the Inclusive Education Service (IES) which is a provincial service designed to offer support and expertise to the English sector for the organization of programs and adapted teaching for students with special learning needs.

This section, created by °µÍøÁÔÆæ consultants in the Student Services Department, provides information and resources for families and students about key moments of transition. Transitions are an exciting time filled with new and positive opportunities. Families play a crucial role in supporting their child’s transition and this section provides guidance through this process.

°µÍøÁÔÆæ Gifted and Talented Learners

This section, created by °µÍøÁÔÆæ consultants in the Student Services Department, provides information and resources for families and students. To raise awareness about the needs of Gifted and Talented learners, the °µÍøÁÔÆæ is adopting a definition to address the individual needs of bright children within its schools. This initiative aims to implement school-wide enrichment programs and lay the groundwork for a Centre of Excellence. Additionally, it identifies the necessity for a policy specifically for Gifted learners in Quebec.
